Hi everyone!
Two short questions, that perhaps someone can answer to me:
I am running a Windows 2008 failover cluster with Storage Foundation 5.1.
1) In the Failover Cluster Manager when Clicking "Storage" -> "Add a disk" the system always comes up with "No suitable disk found", even though there are plenty of them on Storage Foundation. (And I can add them directly using the ressource view.) This leads to the fact that all Wizards don't work. Is there any way to solve that problem?
2) When installing SQL Server 2008 in the cluster setup always terminates with an error message. (I am quite sure this is the same problem as in 1)) Any idea how to do that correctly?
Would appreciate good ideas.

Hi Rick, this is the same problem I had few weeks ago.
The problem is not with SF HA 5.1 but with your storage, perhaps EMC.
If it is so, than you have to setup few paramenters about FA and disks. In Windows 2008 clustering option you need to activate the SCSI_3 persistent reservation.
I hope it helps.
Best regards
