I would like to know why BESR 6.5 does not see USB backup device on boot up, if anyone has info and thanks

Are you talking about when you boot Windows and run BESR? (Mine sees the USB drives fine.) Or if you want to try a restore using the recovery option? (I haven't tried it yet.)

I read on the Symantec site that you're supposed to unplug all USB devices except the one you want to use. The software isn't smart enough to determine which device is which. I had the same issue. I unplugged my USB printer and I was fine.

This is sometimes an issue with the Recovery enviornment not assigning it a drive letter. Here is a document which might help you out if that is the issue.
