Backup Hangs At Reconcile The Volume

Backups appear to work for weeks or months and then hang at reconciling the volume. I have defragged the drives and checked for disk space and both are OK. This job consists of a backup of two partitions in one backup job. If the job is split up to only backup one drive, the backup succeeds. I'm not sure if splitting the drives up is necessary or if it worked because the job was changed.

Should I open a support request?

I think the reason "splitting" the volume imaging jobs worked is because the "split" jobs were not trying to reconcile the changes on the volumes against the images created by the original imaging job.  I think following the suggestion in the technote and doing a more frequent image clean up my get your original job working again.

Thanks for the article. The settings are configured to only keep images for the past weeks, then it overwrites the old images. Should this not be done?

It seems very unreasonable to change the backup folder to old when it gets stuck at 1%. This is supposed to be automated.
