I have read some documents about how to use BESR version 6.5 and 7.0 to migrate my two DC, but I am still not sure how to proceed. Actually, I have two W2K3 DC (+ DHCP, DNS, WINS, Printer and one ADAM directory), one is Global Catalog ; Forest, Domain and domain name stay the same.
I tried to use the "image" from these two DC on my new hardware, it seems there is no pb about Windows, DNS Database, ... but my main problem is about AD, I am not sure what to do after the "image" reinstalled on the new servers :
What to do about global Catalog and FSMO Roles ?
Is it mandatory to perform a non-autoritative or autoritative restore for AD if the image is used less than two hours after they have been created ?
Anything else I forget ?
