I have SSR 2011 installed and would like to create a System Recovery disk, but i don't have the ISO.  I know there's a download for that and I've seen a location for a 2013 version, but I assume I need a 2011 version.  Where can I download one?  Thanks, Rob

I too am in need of the SSR 2011 Desk Edition Recovery Disk.  How can I go about getting this disk?

If you have a license, you should be able to get it here:

https://fileconnect.symantec.com/

Also you should check with a Serial number received by Symantec CBO support , for SSR 2011.

You may have to search for the email , then can go to http://fileconnect.symantec.com and enter the Serial number that starts with letter M and download SSR_10.0.xxx_English_Recovery_Disk_only.zip.

Hope this helps!

I have System Recovery 2011 Version 10.0.3.45857

I also need the ISO Recovery Disk

When I log in to files.symantec.com, that is not one of the files available.

We can no longer provide recovery disks (as per https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100032519.html).

2011 is very old now .... there has since been 2013, 2013 R2, 16, and now 18 (currently SP3). Would recommend that you look at upgrading.

So my company lost all of its data?

No. There are others way to restore your data. I'm just pointing out that we are, legally speaking, no longer allowed to provide recovery disks for older versions of the product.

What is the situation you are in now? If you can explain, maybe I can provide some suggestions.

Need to do a full restore.

OK, so here is what I would recommend:

As you will be using trialware, no official support will be provided by Veritas should you run into problems. I (and others) can try to help you here. However, due to technical complexity, sometimes issues require a formal support case for deeper analysis.

Hope that helps.

It works on XP?

Support for XP was dropped some time ago I'm afraid (around the time that Microsoft stopped supporting it).

You can check what is supported here: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/VSR_18_SCL

Criley,

After going through this process, it's still asking for a Product Key.

Is there something special to do to avoid this?
