Hi all,
We are planning on moving symantec system recovery 2013 to a windows server 2012 R2 machine.
I have found many symantec posts about this and have concluded that it is definitely supported.
But I have also found that I think the Software Compatibility list may require updating?
It has a note saying that with 2012 R2 recovery point sets are not possible, yet in the link it provides here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH197622&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fs...
It states that it is for windows server 2012....it does not say R2...
So my question is, with service pack 2 of system recovery 2013, is windows server 2012 R2 now completely supported, does this link need updating (Typo), or does the software compatibility list need editing?
Thanks,
Steve

I will update that article (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH197622) as it still applies to Windows 2012 R2.
So 2012 R2 is supported but you currently cannot do incremental backups of ReFS. This is being addressed in the next release of SSR.

Thanks Chris!
Just noticed it was for ReFS only anyway so we should still be able to create recovery point sets for our servers.
