Symantec System Recovery virtual environment to test backups

I have a server that uses this product, and i would like to find out how to create a virtual server from the backup image. I want to create a virtual environment to test a major upgrade to the vision software that is on the server.

What would be the best way to do this? I am failrly new with this product. Thanks

You have 2 options:

1. Convert the backup image to virtual format and then manually create the virtual machine

2. Create the virtual machine, boot from the ISO image for the SRD and then restore the image (same as you would for a physical server)
