Weekly swap of Destination

Hi,

Have a customer who wants to swap the target/destination external USB HD off site weekly. Have two identical USB 2TB drives to use for this.

Customer wants to rotate one off site weekly for Disaster recovery.

BESR backs up  M-F. Monday creates a Restore point and T-F are incrementals. Does anyone know how to do this??

Thanks  in Advance.

I think as long as they get the same driveletter and have the same name, it should be no problem to just swap the drives before the new full backup. Also take a look here:

If your customer wants to do this properly, I would recommend using the offsite copy feature as this is what it's designed for.

You'll need to use the 2 USB disks as your offsite copy destinations and you'll also need another location for the primary backup destination (this can be a local fixed disk, network share, NAS etc).

Hope that helps.
