upgrading the license key from BESR 6.5 to 8.5

Customer currently run BESR 6.5 on a range of Windows 2003 servers.

 

Can a customer go straight from 6.5 to 8.5 or do we need to go to 7 first then 8 then 8.5?
Also, does the main BESR server need to be upgraded first or can the clients be done first?
Additionally, is there any documentation on the support site specifically for doing an upgrade?

You can go from 6.5 to 8.5, but you will need to uninstall 6.5 and reboot the server before installing in 8.5.  It would be best to upgrade the primary server first and then the others.
