We have tried removing a host from the scan because it has been decommissioned. The scan still creates and error (Unable to scan host) even though we have removed it -- how can we remove it so it doesn't create the error

I had a similar problem and finally found it. On the Configuration wizard page select Host Groups and Policies, then click the View Hosts icon next to the IP icon in the middle of the page. From there you can search and remove the host you no longer wish to have on the system.
