This is Backup Exec 10D that shipped with this Dell Server
My customer occasionaly has a backup failure because of faulty/dirty tapes. He is asking me if we can ditch the tape backups and start backing up to an external drive. I can't see a way of selecting another media type. Is there something I am missing here?
In that case you have to do to devices tab and create a new backup to disk folder . Just follow the wizard or do it manually. Point the job to that device from job properties.
