Has the issue with Backup Exec 12.5 having and issue with MAPI Credentials been sucessfully resolved yet ?
I've just installed a new W2K8 server with EX2K7 SP1 and am having the exact same issue as I see many others have had. I have the latest MAPI CDO installed.
I've only just seen the post regarding changing the running order and making the Exchange backup first in the list.
This would appear to make sense as I can do a seperate Exchange backup without getting the error, which seemed odd to me.
I only get it when it's part of a full backup and in it's regular order towards the bottom of the list.
I'll try this first as it seems less painless. Report back on that soon..
Just wondering if there was a definitive cause and solution to this.
As for the IPV6..mine is set to obtain an IP dynamically as its the IPV4 that has the static IP.
Was wondering what do to about IPV6 when doing DCPROMO but I found a MS Technet article that said it was OK to ignore the warning and procced without an IP assigned to IPV6.
Just wondering if this has any bearing on things ?
