Backup Exec 2010 Job error

I've been working on a client's server for a couple days now trying to get the backups to work.  I do a test run and everything seems to be fine...there is enough space, the credentials checkout.  but everytime I run the test job, it comes back with this error....

Final error: 0xe0008703 - The test run has detected a potential problem. See the job log for details

I've looked it up and it says that this is a general error.  The rest of the article didn't applly to my situation.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried just running the backup job?  A lot of times I see a test run fail but the actual backup is fine.

The job ran, but it failed with another error.  I probably should start a new thread with that error on it.
