Backup Exec 2014 , Active : media request ?

I am facing issue with Backup Exec 2014 installed on HP easy store server , after i created a job and scheduled the backup , when it comes to start the status becomes active : Queued ... active : media request . I have 8 tapes in the autoloader conficgured as below image, thanks for the help

Does the slot have overwritable or appendable tape ?

Secondly, any particular reason for using partitions ?
