Hi,
A Full Backup job (BackupExec 2012 SP4) is already running for 2 days since Friday. Normally it is always ready in hours.
I can not choose an option to cancel this job. Double click on the running job shows the following job, a differential backup!
How can I cancel the running full backup job?

Do check if there is any outstanding alert which requires a response or not.
And one way to force cancel would be to restart the BE services.

Hi,
The button “ View all jobs”had no this job in the list.
To stop the BackupExec services through “Services” was not possible. An error appears "the service cannot accept control messages at this time ".
The solution was to stop the Backup services through Windows Task manager.
The problem is solved. Thanks for the quick responses.

what is status of backup jobs, either it is running with bytes count or queued ? , or just open task manager and end task for job engine task , after few sec. backup exec job engine service will stop , start the job engine service ,
