Change system account password - error with StoreX

I have exactly the problem described in kb article # 267170 ( http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/267170.htm ). It tells me to enter the old password, but I don't know the old password.

What now?

Is the only solution to this to create a new account and have everything run under that?
