Configure Email Alerts

Hi I am trying to setup email alerts.

I am unable to get the test message to send.

I am running MS Small Business Server 2003, with MS Exchange running on it.

If my domain is www.mydomain.com would my smtp address be smtp.mydomain.com or something similar.

I would really like to get this working as it seems a really useful tool and my emails get sent to my phone so i could be informed imediatley if a problem has occoured.

i worked it out myself.

In case anyone has same issue

try:

servername.domain.local

note domain is your local domain name not your dns record!
