Hello,
I receive the following VSS Snapshot warning on every SystemState-Backup I've done:
"File C:\Windows\System32\cba\pds.exe is not present on the snapshot."
This file is part of our LANDesk-Serverinstallation.
Our LANDesk specialist told me that I can exclude this file from the backup.
I just don't know how to exclude it from the SystemState-Backup.
Please help,
Florian

This is caused by a registry entry existing that looks like it refers to something that is part of the system state, but the file itself is missing (usually caused by a bad uninstall/removal process.)
As such if the file relates to LANDesk then your LANDesk Specialist may need to help you find the reg key(s).
The other option is just to create a file called pds.exe in C:\Windows\System32\cba\
Note: You can't actually do an exclude from a System State backup.

Thanks for your help!
Good to know that I can't exclude anything from the SystemState-Backup.
I will try what you wrote but before that I'll try to resolve it with the following trick I found in the LANDesk User Community:
http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-9772
I'll post the results here.
Kind Regards from Vienna,
Florian
