I Deleted the Backup Exec Media Server in SQL. Now What?

Hello all,

I recently added SQL Express 2008 to our server and thought that it would be a good idea to also delete SQL Express 2005 while I was at it.  I was rushing through the process and accidentally deleted the media server for Backup Exec.  Is there any way to restore it?  I am running BE 12.5 on Server 2003.  Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Check the TN below...you need to read it carefully. 1 of the methods of moving BE's BEDB might actually work here, as long as you have bedb.bak. If you don't, then you need to reinstall BE, recreate your jobs, and recatalog all your media.
