I have a Backup Exec 12.5 server with all current patches on it running on Windows 2008 with Hyper-V. I have 7 virtual guests on it, of which I'm trying to backup 4. 3 of the guests backup just fine. However, the 4th always errors out with the following error:
V-79-57344-34070 - AOFO: Initialization failure on: "VRTSRV::\\servername.domain.local\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\TS". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
Snapshot provider error (0xE0008516): Resources specified for snapshot do not have any valid data on them. Check if files were deleted or renamed.
Also, when I expand the virtual server in the backup selection list, it shows "None" under the virtual machines, whereas the other virtuals show C: and E: drives.
The virtual machine itself is up and running fine with no problems.
Anyone have any ideas of what to try?
