MS Virtual Server 2005 backup

Hi.  I understand that we cannot backup MS Virtual Server 2005.  It is not certififed with BE 2010.

How can I backup that environment?  Can I installed an AWS in the Host OS and make offline backups of the Virtual Servers?

Is this cerfified?

You can definately take a offline backup of the virtual machines of the virtual server 2005. It should be turned off and then you can do the backup of those virtual machines.

You can backup your MS Virtual server 2005 with BE 2010 using the Agent for Microsoft Virtual server.

Backups of MS Virtual server 2005 is supported by BE 2010 and you can confirm the same by going through the compatibility list http://support.veritas.com/docs/329254  page number 64.
