When our Veritas Backup Exec was loaded onto the server it was given different people to logon remotely to the server. When I log in as myself remotely to the server and go to the Veritas program, it shows there is not stand alone drive added to the device pool. I try to load a device via the wizard but it says:
Cannot configure devices remotely.
This operation must be perfored locally on the administered server.
Our IT tried doing this but had no success. Could someone please help us with this as we are needing to get our backup running correctly.
