Not recognizing 80/160VXA tapes

We have a EXABYTE VXA-2 autopack1x7 tape loader with 80/160GB tapes in but it's switching tapes out at the 80GB level. We have hardware compression turned on. When I look in the media types it's not showing the 8mm VXA 80/160GB tapes in the list. Any help?

It also looks like it grabs random tapes instead of the tapes labeled by weekday
