I have a slight query regarding Backup Exec 12. We do a backup to a removable drive each week. My worry is, if the backup exec server fails or the worst case scenario happens, How do we restore the data from this drive if the worst happened and Backup exec has to be installed on a different server?Thanks
All you would need to do is install Backup Exec on the new server, Connect the drive to that computer, and inventory and catalog the drive. After the catalog you should be able to see your restore data.
