Upgrade BE91 Database to BE10d

Hi to all
I would like to know if there is a tool to upgrade the schema of the BE91 database to BE10d

we are migrating from a BE91 production server to a New BE10d server. We also want to remove from production the older server.
So I new server has been build up with BE10d.

The BE10d Database schema is different from BE91. If I tried to import the BE91 database to the new server the Backup Exec Device and Media Service cannot start because it detected a database schema version mismatch.

Any Help will be appreciated!!!
Thanks

Hi Al!

This problem may occur if Backup Exec has been reinstalled
but the patches that were in place before have not been re-installed yet.

Please refer to following technotes in this regard.

Also visit following link which will guide you through step by step upgrade of BEWS 10.d from BEWS 9.1:

Thanks and regards,

About all that you can do is upgrade the old server to 10d, export the configuration to a file using BEUtil, then import on the new machine.

Hi,

For the error  "The Backup Exec Device and Media Service cannot start because it detected a database schema version mismatch. "

- Un-installed Backupexec and did a fresh install.
- Copied the data and catalogs folder from old backup.
- Migrated the databases using Bemig command.
