Viewing the content of old tapes

Hi,

I am trying to catlog/run an inventory of some old tapes from a previous server/system which I believe were produced in a previous version of Backup Exec with a different server name. When I try to catalog it just queues and when I run an inventory it fails at 99% with the error "0x10bd- the medium is not compatible with the device or media pool"

Any ideas please.

What kind of media are they?
What kind of drive created the tapes?
What kind of drive are you trying to restore/catalog on?

They are LTO1 (100/200GB) tapes and I am trying to catalog to an LTO4 drive (800GB/1.6TB)
The tapes were created on an old Dell server again with an internal LTO1 tape drive.
It is a Small business Server 2003 R2 server I wish to catalog / restore to.......The current tape drive is a Dell internal LTO4 tape drive purchased with our server which according to Backup Exec is an IBM-TD4.
