W2K3 System State restore to "TESTLAB" environtmet kept failing

As a part of my DR process:

Every time I attempt to restore a backup copy of the System State (A_SERVER-production server) to (B_SERVER-test server in TESTLAB environment) in “Directory Services Restore Mode”, the restore of System State fails with “Unable to attach to one of the drives. Final errror category: Resource Errors”.

I tried Document ID: 258296 (http://support.veritas.com/docs/258296) with no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bearing in mind that IDR is meant to be used to backup and restore the same server -

Are your two systems physically the same? Same Controllers, same number of physical/logical disks? etc.

Both systems are identical. Also, I tried BE IDR option but our server crapped out during the bootable CD\DVD creation (got bluescreen of death and it rebooted itself :-(, what a scary moment). I need to find a way to make this work as our production server is too fragile right now.

As basci troubleshooting steps please verify the following parameters as well. These are used for restore as well.

Title:
"Unable to attach to one of the drives" error is reported while backing up remote systems

"Unable to attach to one of the drives" (a000848c HEX or e000848c HEX) is reported when a job fails

If the problem persists, revert with your exact details of your configuration and the scenario.
