If you want to be strong on concepts of both these topics then I would suggest you start reading admin guides. Admin guides are best sources of information about the product & how it works. It would help building your concepts about the product.

On the above link. select the OS coulmn which you are most interested in & select version (5.1 is latest) .. check out product guides .. you will find all information there.
ABout the interview questions, well if you google around , you will get n number of websites however I personally don't recommend then unless you are through with concepts.
Symantec web provides little of questions for skills assesment, check them out once you have finished reading guides:
