Hi

I have just moved EV 8 sp3 to an new sql and windows server. I used the following articles http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH35744 and http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH55377 . The EV server is setup for file archive and reporting only.

Everything went well with the move the only issue I have is when I browse to the EV server in the EV console I get error "cannot access the fsa reporting web service" I also have some errors in event log regards fsa

I also noticed that there is no folder in IIS for fsareporting

Any ideas?

You should just have to go to Command Prompt then CD to your Enterprise Vault installation path
then run

FSAReportingWebServiceConfig Create "C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\FSAReporting" yourEVServer

You may also want to look in the FSAReportingDatabase table in the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database to make sure you have the new name of the SQL Server set properly
