DA Legal Hold NIghtmare..

Hello Everyone...  I am an a Legal Hold nightmare..   Hoping someone that reads this can help.

Basically have about ~80 cases that have scheduled searches that automatically accept the results of the searches and apply legal holds.  Sometimes this works fine and sometimes, it does not.  Bascially, when it does not work, it hits the retry count (currently set to 2) and then stops.   Not sure what is causing the holds to suddently retry.  We have tried everything we can think of and seems to be reproducable.  We are on version 2007 SP6. 

Any thoughts??

Need a few more details....

What is the version of EV and SQL?

Do you see any error messages or events?  You say it is reproducable, have you done any tracing? 

Also, I am confused about your statement "Not sure what is causing holds to suddenly retry", can you elaborate on that a bit?

Most importantly have you opened a support case?
