At a customer site there is an issue where the mailbox messages are reported as not being able to be sent - the old 2297 and 2298
however when we go to the EV system mailbox account, within the INBOX are the messages ! however they are already 'read' (as in they have been opened and read) and they have a peculiar date associated to them
the disable mailbox messages all have a date of 06/04/11
the enable mailbox messages all have a date of 12/01/11
any pointers on why it would A be using these bizarre dates and B why they are sitting in the ev system mailbox

any chance the EV Admin account doesn't have the "Send On Behalf As" permission to that particular system mailbox?

Are the two emails in the c:\Progam Files\Enterprise Vault\ sub-directory as .msg files. That is where the system picks them up to send them to the user's mailbox.

thanks, despite running the scripts and checking deployment scanner the send as permission had not been set
