Enterprise Vault for migrated mailbox fails with 6768/6696

WDT

Exchange 2003 and 2010 in single forest. Enterprise Vault version 10.0.2

I'm trying to export an archive back to an original mailbox, which is migrated. But it fails because it still thinks the mailbox is on 2003 with event ID's 6768 and 6696

I've set the reg key synchinmigrationmode to 1. Do I need to restart everything before this takes effect?

Outlook 2003 is supported with EV 10 but only SP2 and above, have a look at the compatibility charts for full details.

Outlook 2003 SP2...
See technical note TECH46028 at http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH46028

Outlook 2003 SP3...
Requires Microsoft hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948073. To use this hotfix, you need to set the
registry entries mentioned in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948074.
The recommended registry value is 0xFFFFFFFF.

Have you ran the deployment scanner, does it warn about the version of Outlook?

Yes restart the EV Admin service. And did you add Exch 2010 in targets?

Yes I did that. I will restart EV admin.

Still same error. Exporting PST works. Any other pointers?

Does archiving work correctly against the Exchange 2010 target?  Is this a permissions issue?

Hmm I'm getting the error that the task wont start because outlook 2003 is installed. Would this be the issue and would upgrading break my archiving of exchange 2003?
