Exchange Provisioning Task error "Invalid Pointer"

Hi! After having a while of down time on the Enterprise Vault server, the Exchange Provisioning Task does not want to run. I cannot delete it or create a new one either. It keeps saying "Invalid Pointer" when trying to delete it.

I have heard something about using some stored procedures to remove the task from the EV database, but I cannot find any details on how to actually do this.

Does anyone know of a solution, or have information about how to locate and run the stored procedures?

hmm this rings a bell, from something that I read the other day - but it was related to Domino Provisioning.  Let me see if I can find it.

Okay so first of all the regular questions ... what Operatig System and service pack is being used, what version of Enterprise Vault, has this ever worked, etc, etc.  Do you have just Exchange archiving?  Or does you have Domino, FSA, Sharepoint etc, too?

Can you get a full DTRACE of the task startup?

Any IPv6 in the mix?
