How to Manually Archive Items in Vault Store Waiting to be Indexed

Hello All

I would like to index one of our Vault stores as we have been having issues with our backups, and would like to know if there is a quick way of doing this.

I have tried running the Exchange Mailbox task, selecting all mailbox's, but doesnt seem to do anything? Am i missing something really simple.

not sure exactly what you mean but what version of EV are you running and what backup issue specifically are you trying to solve?

Version of the Vault is 9.0.4.1097

The EventID is 41021. We have had this issue before when our Backup Exec and SQL backups fail and so it queues the archived items.

I would like to run the archive/Index job now in order to clear this EventID - can this not be done?

event 41021 can be caused by several different things. maybe this post will help you troubleshoot and hopefully narrow down the issue. https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/event-id-41021-archived-items-are-waiting-be-indexed-ev-v1002
