We are trying to export 4 years worth of EV Archives back into exchange. (Either PST or Mailbox) and at our current speed it would take us many months to accomplish this.
For the old archives we are getting about 3500 items per hour. (Not even 2GB an hour). For newer archives that are not compressed yet we are getting about 2-3GB/hour This process it's extremely slow. We have checked almost everything and nothing seems to speed the process. The following are the things we have tried.
1.-Stop all processes and services we are not using 2.-Increase pagefile (we have 4GB of RAM in our servers, they all have Xeon CPUs) 3.-Stop archiving and journaling in these servers.
What recommendations can you make to speed up the process? The CPU , disk I/O are not even close to their peaks.
