We have a N+1 VCS design which we would like to implement for EV 8.03. We have the following servers (We have many more servers but for example sake, I have simplified it) -
Node1 -> Archiving Services
Node2 -> Journaling and FSA Services
Node3 -> Failover Server
We have a single VCS cluster with all 3 servers.
So does the following config make sense -
1. We were thinking of creating 2 service groups (EVARCH1 + EVJRN1) which corrospond to Node1 and Node2 respectively.
2. Create the first EV virtual server (EVSERVER1) with service group (EVARCH1) on Node1 (active) and Node3 (failover).
3. Create the second EV virtual server (EVSERVER2) with service group (EVJRN1) on Node2 (active) and Node3 (failover).
Can you all comment/question/verify the above config?
