Hi,
I currently have an exchange 2007 environment running 2003, 2007 and 2010 Outlook clients and run Enterprise Vault 9.0.1. I have deployed the HTTP client for 2010 users and all have worked so far with the exception of 1 user. The problem I have is that when this one user opens outlook and synchronise with Exchange it tries to download around 68Mb and he has a dedicated 4mb line and it takes nearly an hour to download. This was in an office that is on our network so the speed direct to the server shouldn't be an issue over a dedicated 4mb line.
I have replicated the problem with another laptop that has the same user account setup on it and it takes the same amount of time. The user also has a PC at home with an 8mb broadband (obviously not a dedicated line) finishes the download in a couple of minutes and this is in the same office on the same dedicated line.
Has anyone else had the same problem or know how to resolve this issue. We are planning to upgrade to Exchange 2010 sometime this year and rollout all users onto 2010 however with nearly 2000 users of which 460 have archived mail in EV. I don't get this issue with 2003 or 2007 users.
Thanks in advance
Scott

by now i would also suggest trying the latest 9.02 client with the hotfixes. you can find it in the late breaking news page.

Don't suppose you have BITS throttled at all?

Did you upgrade to 9.0.1, or always been on 9.0.1?
Is it Outlook downloading data (doing it's send/receive) or is the EV Outlook Addin, doing a vault cache sync?
