Reason: Unable to determine a web app url for vault access

I've got one user at a remote location who receives this error when attempting to access archived items using OWA. The user gets this error when attempting to access public folders via http://servername/public.  The archived folders are stored on a server in a different state from the users' account which resides on a server in her home state. I've logged in as the user on several systems located in her region including a few in my region and continue to get the same error.
So far the only reference I've found on this issue suggests making sure the domain name exists in the EXBackend.ini file:

This has already been applied so I'm wondering if any other fixes have been found to resolve this issue?

And this is only happening with public folders, or is the user able to open up his own items?

There is currently an open issue which sounds like your issue so the description of the issue that I am referring to is:-

Using OWA in a multi-site environment and trying to access Public Folder items.  Mailbox server is in one site and PF server is in another site.  If a
user logs into OWA using http://Front-end_server/Exchange they can open mail
which is in the same site as mailboxes, but cannot open PF items from the other
site...get Access Denied.

If you are getting the same symptoms as above then I would suggest that you log a case with us to verify that you indeed are getting the same behavior. On logging the case quote ETRACK:- 1543998
