If you are having space issues of any kind your first action should be to try am extend the amount of space you have or move items or partitions etc to make free space. There are times though that you may wish to delete old archives of users that have left the company or run storage expiry to delete really old email for items that should have naturally died of old age anyway But you should never just delete files off of the backened or in sql as it would lead to instability within EV, always let ev's on mechanisms handle removing data As for sql though, how big are the databases? Also you have been truncating your transaction logs right? They can become massive if they don't get backed up each night

Db size is 100gb and yes we have been truncating the logs after backup every night.

We are now planning to move the DB to a DAS. The SQL team will be doing the move once we connect the DAS to the server.

Hoping there wont be any issues once the DAS is connected.

Thanks for the input JW2. Very helpful comment.
