Hi
I have some issues running the Throttling script in this invironment
1 x Exchange 2003
4 x Exchange 2010
Archiving has run for the last 5 month with Exch 2003 and the customer has now implemented Exch2010
I am trying to enable throttling for this account EVS-mail (have tried with other users too) but i end up getting this error
Invalid parameter value: -User does not contain a user with a mailbox. Please pass in a valid username.

Does the user have a valid Exchange 2010 mailbox?

Hi Rob
Yes the EVS-mail should be a valid Exchange 2010 Mailbox, its moved from Exch2003

Well.. not according to the error message. But perhaos you can look through the PowerShell and see if it is obvious which command is being run that is generating the error.
Also you could try a different/new user. See if that gives the same error?

Try opening the specific mailbox using the VSA account. It might be corrupt.
