Storage Archive Queue has 12,000 e-mails in Pending state

Hello,
My client just called me and has 12,000 e-mails in pending state in MSMQ Storage Archive queue.  There are no errors in the EV or Event logs.  We restarted Journaling services and tasks, but still puts them in pending state.  Please help!

Yes, it is in Backup mode.

Hi,

if the items are in the Storage Archive queue then the problem lies with the Storage service instead of the tasks. The most likely cause is that the Storage Service is still in back-up mode. Check the Vault Store to see if it is still in backup mode. If so, when you change mode the items in the Storage Archvei queue should start clearing out

Clear backup mode and it will clear them down :) It cant write new data whilst in backup mode
