The title says it all really ;)

Can I use EV to archive a Domino system, then migrate to Exchange and re-attach the archives ?

No, you don't have to use those tools and if you aren't using shortcuts I guess you won't have to worry with that part of it so that is one less hassel!

Give the attached doc a read, it should help. One thing I want to point out, the user will actually have two archives, one Domino and one Exchange.  They will not be able to see the Domino archived items in Archive Explorer.  Limitations are covered here:

Excellent response.  Thank you.

One last question and I'll mark it as the solution, the docs talk of using BT or Quest, are these tools obligatory ?

Let me explain myself, my client will not 'actually' migrate any mail from Domino to Exchange.  They'll simply archive ALL from Domino, provision new mailboxes in Exchange and have user start with empty mailboxes in Outlook.  What we need to do is simply attach the 'old' system's emails for them to be usable in Outlook and their new shiny, empty, Exchange mailboxes.  Is this a clear explication ?

There will be no shortcuts in the mailbox.

So restating the question, can I use the EVDominoExchangeMigrationTool and BLAM! all is cool ?

Thanks in advance.
