Hi,
I am looking for information on things I might be doing wrong or may just not be supported when it comes to the owa plugin for EV. Some info on the environment is as follows:
exchange 2010 sp3
windows server 2012r2
ev 10.3
I didn't orignally setup EV. It was already setup and as far as I can tell it is working (it archives emails and even the outlook plugin works).
I've read "setting up exchange server archiving" chapter 10 "configuring owa access to EV". I've done the following:
Installed the owa extensions on my CAS servers.
a "data access account" had already been created for EV
checked exchange desktop policy to make sure owa was allowed
created the "exchangeservers.txt" file with the ip of the CAS servers on EV server
install "ip & domain restrictions" on EV server and made sure it was "read/write"
ran the cscript with the data access account (can see evanon virtual directory created)
restarted admin service & waited for synch of mailboxes to occur (even restarted EV server)
The owa client still does not show any EV extensions on it. I made sure conversation view was disabled. So what have I done wrong? Is server 2012r2 not supported in this version of EV? Any insight into this issue would be great.
Thanks.

First thing to check...the OWA extensions are only supported on Internet Explorer, and will not show in other browsers.
Make sure IE is in compatibility mode too.
If it's not working in IE, then have a read of this....
https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH166086.html
...enable the logging and see if there's a clue in the log file, or post it here.

And make sure to use an account that is enabled for archiving :)

Thank you guys for the replies. I am using IE to access owa. It is version 11. There is no compatibility view option available when I access owa with it.
I will look at the article link and report back when I gather more info.

The account I used to run the script and the account that I used within the script are the same account. It is the "vault service accoun"t. Not sure if it's good practice or not but somewhere I saw that the "data access account" that is listed in EV should be the one used within the script so that's why I used that. Before I was trying with a domain user account I created but that wasn't working either.

If the data access account is wrong, it will cause problems when the extensions try to access EV, but wouldn't prevent you seeing the actions in OWA.
BTW, what are you looking for? There's no toolbar for OWA 2010 extensions: the EV actions for items are on the right click menu, and the Search and Archive Explorer links are with Mail/Calendar/Tasks etc.

Right now I am not getting any EV actions when I right click any email. I also don't see the search & archive explorer links next to mail/calendar.

I don't seem to have IIS logs enabled or at least the last date modified was yesterday.
Looking at the EV logs I'm not sure what I'm looking for but I did notice that it's a repetitive log of the same information. Below is a section of the log with some settings masked by me. The only issue I can possibly see is that the browser section says false? I did try with IE8 and still no luck. I'm going to downgrade to IE10 just to check but I don't think the result will be any different.

Downgraded to IE 8 and still no luck. In the log this time it does show "true" for "isValidBrowser".

I've also ran the EVTOOLS and the results are passed for all my CAS servers. There is only 1 failed result, which is for my Lync server, but since it has no CAS role in it so not sure why it even gets scanned.
