Hi, our appliance (firmware is v1.4) keeps giving the following error:
CALLHOME status: Not able to upload callhome data
Error: 500 SSL negotiation failed:
Please contact Symantec Support to resolve this issue.
Is there any solution to this? Thanks in advance.

If you appliance does not have free internet access to upload the information then it will not be able to access the Syamantec site to do any uploads
If this is the case then disbale the call home
Connect via Putty (or equivalent) and in either the Admin menu or Settings Menu (dependant on software version) do the following:
CallHome Disable

Thanks for your replies. I checked with Symantec support and they told me that the Call Home server is down for past few days. That is why our appliance cannot connect to the Call Home server...

Is the call home server down again? We've been receiving the same messages for several days now. The last time this happen, the server was down. Thanks.
