Hi,
Job with the status of a policy incorrectly resulted in 59 tries. Later on this policy as a Remote Backup Folder Selection Tab you define a new backup selection
"Unable to connect to Netbackup host xxxxx" receiving message.
Firstly tired to using bpclntcmd command varieties and results is normaly.
Also checked bp.conf config file on the master server and result is ok.
When I examined logs Bpcd FTL - EXIT STATUS 46 BPCD emerge from the logs in and the
bpcd valid_server: mmmmm_master is not a master server
bpcd valid_server: mmmmm_media is not a media server either
process_requests: read failed
Then posts caught my attention. NetBackup Admin Guide on Clients from this section on the Host Properties section of the existing two xxxxx clientınn Media Servers Servers media server definitions successfully saw that when I add the names.
And bpcd log file included
bpcd valid_server: comparing mmmmm_master and mmmmm_master
bpcd valid_server: hostname comparison succeeded
process_requests: output socket port number =1
and exit with 0
bpcd exit_bpcd: exit status 0 ----------->exiting
I see messages in the form of bringing together log. In addition to defining the relevant policy xxxxx I can browse successfully to client.
I wanted to share this information.
Good work everyone.

Edit: I see this is not actually a question but an observation
