Yeah. It`s a good choise. I`m using it now, and it`s good for me.

I would say yes and no as a choise.
You have product like ViStor VTL (also available in trail) where you can use a robotic arm with slots etc.
Starwind VTL have only stand-alone drives and no slots.
Currently testing is as I am learning backup but it reduce what I would like to achieve.
