Download for NB_CLT_6.5.5?

I am looking to update all my Linux servers that need to be backed up by NetBackup from 6.5 to 6.5.5. I downloaded the only files I could find:

- NB_6.5.5.linuxR_x86_337780.tar
- NB_JAV_6.5.5_337809.tar

Can someone please tell me what files / downloads I require to upgrade my server(s)? I am simply trying to upgrade the clients first. Not the actual Linux server running my NetBackup software.

I can't seem to find the client download anywhere on their site.

Please help!

Can't do it, won't work.

the Master always has to be at or higher then the client.
If the client is higher then the master or media server it won't work.

Order of upgrade

Master
media
clients.

Woops. Thanks! So my server is Red Hat Enterprise Level 5.4 x64 so what files or downloads would I need to update my NetBackup server before I do my clients?

Do I simply just need the "NB_6.5.5.linuxR_x86_337780.tar" download and nothing else? My NetBackup master server is on 6.5.4.

I can't say if it would work or not. it may or may not ;)

but...it definitely is not a supported solution by Symantec and I would not want to be the one that has to explain to a data owner why I implemented an unsupported solution for their data protection.....so I won't assist someone else to do this.

You will need the Client software (NB_CLT_6.5.5.tar) as well. Installation of server patch will look for client patch and will fail if Client patch cannot be found. Installation steps can be found in README URL where patches are downloaded from.
I normally add the Java patch after adding server and client patch.
