Error 83 with SAN clients

Hello,
We have a "random" problem with netbackup 6.5.4 and san clients (solaris 10).
The san backups work for a week or more, and then the backups start to fail with error 83.
It seems to be a problem on the media servers because if we restart one, the errors 83 disappear.
Do you have similar problems ?
thankx. sh.

Yes we have the buffers set to 16.
If we set they to 32 or more then backups always fail with 83.
Our problem is that it is failing after one week, after the reboot of media servers.

We have the same problem, random fails after a few days of weeks (depending on the NBU load). We tried various EEB which improved the situation but, it's not yet perfect.

More details about the bug: it seems that some FT pipes between the client and media, are not properly closed. So after a while, the limit is reached and errors 83 start to appear. That explains also that a reboot of the media server is beneficial. The other problem is that FT/LAN failover does not work: the backup job ends with error 83, without trying the LAN :(

We are testing EEB 1850283... More news in a week...

2 weeks without errors with this EEB.

Just a small update: with eebinstaller.1850283.2.solaris and eebinstaller.1850283.2.solaris8_64 , we have much less errors 83. Much less= random errors on loaded Oracle servers. So now the bug seems to be triggered by high load (on the client or on the media, I don't know...)
