NBU 5.0 master with 6.0 media server

Hello Guys
 
For some reasons, Now we dont't want to upgrade the the Master server having NBU 5.0
 
Will NBU 6.0 media server works with NBU 5.0 master server?
 
Is it possible?

Not supported and will definitely not work as in v6.0, most of the Media server db has been consolidated into the central EMM db on Master server.

it will not work. reinstall netbackup with 5.0 on media server.
