NBU 7.7 MSDP creation fails login credentials verification failed for server

When creating an MSDP in Netbackup 7.7 i get an error stating:

"Login credentials verification failed for server - Unkown error (-1)"

Both the Master and media server and running 7.7 on Windows Server 2012 R2.

The media server is a brand new build.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this error might be occurring?

So, different error this time further down MSDP setup. You will need to find logs to see where what went wrong and then cleanup config as per Nicolai's post before re-attempt. Not too sure at this point which logs to check. Try to locate (Dedupe-path)\log\spad\spad.log Use vxlogview to check nbrmms logs (OID=222).
